About The Model Photos.

Unlike other websites so far, this website uses the highly skilled artform of high end scale modelling to portray IN LARGE SCREEN FORMAT, (so mobile phone users please use a PC), the aircraft, vehicles, figures and even some marine craft associated with the Battle of Britain and Bomber Command of WW2. Where possible the best Hi Res photos are used.

It shows ACCURATE COMPLETE markings so if you don’t like Swastikas don’t look at the German aircraft ! It is a historical site, non political, that’s obvious to anyone anyway !

The result of careful correct depth of field (in focus from near to far) and lighting methods using bounce flash or daylight, using a dSLR camera (in my case), over many decades. Only the most accurate models both in shape and colour are chosen. With in-depth knowledge of the actual paint colours used at the time, many models that have incorrect paint colours are passed by, as the aim is to show THE CORRECT APPEARANCE as opposed to just any model.

With Eduard having all their Me109E tails wrong its been a tough decision to exclude them, so a separate page exists where they were too good otherwise to dismiss.

If you think you can meet these photographic standards and that your photos, not necessarily your own models, meet the strict criteria, drop me an email.  EMAIL . Where a model has yet to be seen meeting these standards, there will be no photo.
